Phil Devlin acts as the communications sherpa for The Creative Coast.
Phil helps promote the events, activities, services, people and organizations that are helping make Savannah the Knowledge Hub of the South.
Phil moved to Savannah in 1991 to serve as the communications manager for Palmer & Cay, a regional insurance brokerage firm. In 2006, he was named marketing manager for Wachovia Insurance Services, one of largest insurance brokerage firms in the nation. Today, Phil is firmly rooted in Savannah and serves as an independent communications and marketing consultant for organizations from Savannah to San Francisco.
Phil has 30 years experience in corporate communications, advertising, marketing and sales. He earned a B.A. in Journalism from the University of South Carolina and an MBA from Clemson University. His bride of 27 years, Suzanne, is the sunshine in his life and his three daughters, Maggie, Kate and Clare, are his stars and moon.
