cSpot
The “c” stands for Creative. The “Spot” refers to a central “spot” (literally and figuratively) for folks to meet and network. Together, you have cSpot, Savannah’s most happening social hour, a veritable breeding ground of brain-based idea sharing and cocktailed conversing. Brought to you by Clark Creative and FITZHUGH., cSpot is held on the last Wednesday of every month from 5:30 – 7:30pm at various Savannah locations.

Free Advice Fridays
Tom Kohler dreamed it up. Kevin Lawver will figure out how to screw it up. Come on over to the Creative Coast HQ (15 West York Street, 31401) on the first Friday of the month for free advice (starting in August of 2011). We will start at 12pm and end at 2pm. Simple concept really, on the first Friday of each month, a few nerds will be ready, willing, and able to answer any question that they are asked. It won’t hurt.

GreenDrinks Savannah is a networking group initiated by local non-profits and businesses to engage community members in an informal setting. Devised and shared by Klein-Dytham Architecture, Pecha Kucha Night is a party. It’s an art salon. It’s a night of show and tell. Through word of mouth, it’s now in over 250 cities around the globe. 20 slides at 20 seconds each) x (a variety of exciting and passionate presenters) + social setting = Pecha Kucha night.

Refresh is a community of web designers, developers, and other new media professionals working together to refresh the creative, technical, and professional aspects of their trades in the Savannah area. Their goal is to bring together the best and brightest new media professionals in the Savannah area so that we may learn from one another. Savannah Tweetup was founded by Jillian Rowe and Erik Shultz, who found themselves socializing with the social geeks of the low country in Savannah, Georgia.
